Just as Mike was concerned with the safety of his passengers and crew aboard the many airline flights he commanded, we want to assure you that your health and safety are the foremost considerations of all our activities associated with the roasting of your specialty grade coffee.

Beginning today in our roastery, we have installed a Walk-Up Window to purchase your bags of coffee. As usual, our store hours will remain Monday through Saturday, 11 am until 3 pm.

And as usual, we offer roast to order coffee here on our online store.

Most of you reading this blog, know us more than the usual roaster-customer relationship, so you know that we’re the handshaking, hugging AND talking type, which means that implementing procedures like 6ft social distance go against our natural inclinations but we totally support our state and national authorities in slowing the spread of this COVID-19 and want to do our part to keep you safe.

You already know this, but we still feel it needs to be expressed. When we say we love you, we genuinely mean it. We are so very thankful for not only your support but for the sheer blessing of getting to be a part of your daily lives. It's amazing how much you can get to know someone through an online store. In addition to all the coffee related details, such as how you prefer to brew and drink your coffee, which coffee origins you enjoy (or despise), we love knowing who your family members are, what you dream about, what’s on your bucket list, where you live, who your neighbors are, and even the tough, sad things such as you just lost your job or worse, someone close to you. Thank you so much for the love you show us by sharing all this with us.

We look forward to our continued relationship together.  Beth Moore in her just-released book, Chasing Vines, said something that helps close this letter to you fittingly-

From the very beginning we have encouraged you to find gaps in your community and fill them with your gifts. It’s what we mean by “Filling The Gap”. If anything, these days have afforded us all the time to reflect on our true purpose in life, to inventory our talents and how they can be best used in our community, and we can’t wait to hear all about what you’ve learned and how you have acted in this knowledge. And as always, we’re thrilled to roast the coffee that boosts your spirit —and energy— to complete your Fill The Gap activities!
